Hundreds of others have moved to Utica as secondary migrants. Since the early 2000's The Center has resettled nearly 4,000 individuals and families from Burma. Tone's specialization in Burmese languages comes from our history as a part of The Center in Utica, NY.

Tone is now providing translation services for several other languages from Burma, including many dialects of Chin. We have always offered professional translation into Burmese and Karen (S'gaw & Poe). Our strongest competency is in languages from Burma (also known as Myanmar). Tone has always translated nearly everything, especially languages from South East Asian. In addition to translation, captioning, voice recording, transcreation, localization, InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator DTP and transcription services are also available. Tone already provided translation service for Burmese, Karen, and Karenni. Tone, the translation department at The Center is now offering translation services in multiple Chin dialects including Haka, Falam, Mizo and Zomi.
